From time to time, you may find you need to check on the health of your oven. For example, you may have noticed a build-up of grease on the walls of your oven, or perhaps a build-up of dust around the top of your oven. Your oven is one of the most important components of your kitchen, so it’s important for you to take care of it. Fortunately, you can easily clean and maintain your oven with the right supplies.
There are many ways to prepare a turkey breast for the Thanksgiving table, some of which are not completely healthy. I initially tried the oven-roasted method, which is a bit time-consuming, but ended up being more tasty, and you get all the flavors of a traditional oven-roasted turkey. A bone-in turkey is the most flavorful way to prepare a turkey breast and the method I describe here will allow you to bone it on Thanksgiving, too.
This preparation begins with a bone-in turkey breast, which is then finished in the oven. The breast is rubbed with a paste of onion, garlic, paprika, and salt, then placed on the rack of a roasting pan. The breast is then roasted at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes, after which it is transferred to a 425 degrees F oven for another 20 minutes. The breast is then finished with a pan sauce of cream, butter, and mushrooms.
Only your spouse and pets can sometimes gather around the dinner table to celebrate the holidays. We always have only the two of us for Thanksgiving, which is why we prepared this Turkey Breast Roasted in the Oven dish. We won’t be able to finish a twelve-pound turkey, but that doesn’t mean we can’t partake in the delicacy.
Why is there a bone in a turkey breast?
The turkey breast is notorious for being the driest cut of meat. As a result, buying it bone-in and boiling it will help recover whatever juice there is. Whatever cut you use, the meat closest to the bone will always be the most juicy. You’ll be in for a treat if you can get your hands on a bone-in ribeye. This holiday season, grab that sucker and forget about the turkey.
All we want is a recipe for a juicy turkey!
Can I be completely honest with you for a moment? Whether you roast the entire turkey or just the breast, you’ll never get a juicy turkey breast. As a result, we’ve combined this simple oven-roasted turkey breast recipe with a delectable gravy to save the day!

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Separate the skin from the breast of the turkey by patting it dry.

In a dutch oven/skillet that can be covered with a lid, place the seasoned turkey.
Cook for 45 minutes with the lid on.
Remove the lid and cook the roast for another 15-20 minutes.

Heat the turkey skillet over medium heat on the stovetop. Toss in the chopped shallot with the turkey drippings and mix well.
Add the xanthan gum and chicken broth once the shallots are soft. Bring the gravy to a simmer, stirring constantly, until it has thickened.
